Professor HAGA Akihiro

  We study various types of medical image, including X-ray computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound imaging, etc. Such the medical images can be reconstructed based on the response from the human body through the external irradiation. Our laboratory has developed a medical computer vision system to generate medical images and the feature derivation from the image, based on the physics and machine learning approaches. Our laboratory is one of the developers in quantum molecular dynamics model of Geant 4 toolkit. We are collaborating in the worldwide, and one of the most active laboratories in Tokushima University.
