Our department was newly established on October 1, 2025, and aims to enhance basic dental education while promoting education, research, and international collaboration.
We support curriculum management, student learning, and postgraduate education, while advancing on-demand programs and strategic initiatives based on Institutional Research (IR) data, with the goal of fostering future dental professionals with scientific thinking and global perspectives.
In parallel, we also conduct basic research in the life sciences, currently focusing on tooth regeneration and the molecular mechanisms of hereditary metabolic disorders.
By elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying cell fate regulation, we aim to contribute to disease prevention and the development of novel therapeutic targets. Furthermore, through these research activities, we are actively committed to nurturing the next generation of young researchers.
